Puncture Wound

Hello everybody. For those who remember, I purchased clown loaches almost three years ago, and yoyos soon after. All are thriving.

My question today concerns the puncture wound on my angelfish. The wound is on the gill plate. It has a red center, the width of a thicker sewing needle. When I look at the wound, it makes me think of a bee sting. The scenario I'm envisioning is that perhaps during a feeding, either the clowns or yoyos must've displayed its spines, and mistakenly punctured the angel (the angel got in the way). Has anyone seen an actual puncture made by a loach?

Of course I'm worried about fungus growing around the site, so I've been doing frequent water changes, and adding salt temporarily.
