RO Water in New Tank Set-up?

Does anyone use reverse osmosis water in their loach tanks? The story: Have large established tank, am moving, new tank set-up. I am wondering if I need to add any water conditioner to the water (usually use Nov-aqua). I have had to add a small portion (1/8 tank) of tap water to raise the pH to around 7 but I don't know if I need to worry about adding anything else to condition the water. My loaches are quite large and I am attached to them. I have had Clowns, Yo Yo, and Weather loaches for several years but have never used RO water in my tanks before (New drinking water system installed). Any input would be appreciated.
