So far so good.. its been 4 days and there is no detectable signs of ammonia. Ph is at 6.8-6.9 and holding steady.

The Bala's are looking very cheeky, and have even made a "hidey hole" in a clump of Java moss. Itsy and Bitsy the "micro-clown loaches" have found umpteen Billion little spots to vanish into and are doing very well.

I"m keeping my fingers crossed, hopefully this goes smoothly..

P.S. Surprisingly, I have not seen a sigle Ick spot in 2 days after introducing the clowns!
