Salt and Dojos

Does anyone have experience with treating yellow/gold dojos with aquarium salt at 1 tablespoon per 5 gallons as an ich treatment? I have found several posts about clown loaches and salt but could not locate any specific posts that include dojos. The tank contains java moss, java fern and clown loaches. I suspect an ich breakout is brewing based upon my loaches current behavior. I am specifically wondering about the effect on live plants and dojo's. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks.
