*sigh* Could use your opinions

Which kinda means you should probably talk me out of it...

I have a newish tank (old filters, adding new fish & more plants) which is a 30 gal long: 36"X 18"X 12" that is going to be my "teeny fish" tank. At the moment it has 5 panda cories, 2 immature checkerboard cichlids, espei's & fire rasboras, & loreto tetras, & a small peckoltia. Plan to add marbled hatchets and a pair of sparkling gouramis.

It should end up as a pretty heavily planted tank and has lots of bogwood.

Finally, the question for which I need your much vaunted opinions: Should I add 3 B. histrionica (golden zebra loaches)? I would really like to get these again, but they wont fit into either of my other tanks. Would they be too rowdy in this peaceful fish tank? They are very peaceful for botias, I just wonder if they'd be too active and too pushy at feeding time? Not to mention that they'd really add to the bioload. All the other fish are fairly small-bodied and dont produce tons of waste. I could be pushing limits in terms of fish-load, and water quality is important for alot of these fish. (tank has 2 Aqua Clear 200s on it).

Am I answering my own questions? I just really like these botias and miss them. Only have striata and sids these days, with clowns planned (finally!!!) for the 55.
