I just got a mail from a company that grow algae for production of astaxanthin. This is a carotene that sometimes is used in cichlidfood. The main use is as an color enhancer in salmon food but also as an antioxidant for humans.
I am asked to write an article on the subject for the Swedish aquarium-publication called SARF-aktuellt. We only have one in Sweden:-(

Does anyone of you have any experience of this in loachfood, or have any other comments? I donīt want the article to be to much advertising, but more a serious enlightment on the subject.

Any comments is welcome,
