Clowns swim around after water change

I have 4 clowns in a 55 gallon tank, no other fishes. Every week I do a 33% water change and when I finish my loaches swim up n down in one corner nonstop. During the week they usually just chill in their cave, I never see them except when it's time to eat. Oh, that's another thing, usually when I feed them they go crazy. But if I feed them after the water change they ignore the food. What are they doing? Are they happy? Do they not like the water change? The tank has been running for 9 months now, water chemistry is good and clean.
