As per Jim's instructions, I was checking up on the G. cheni today to see what they are up to today......

And then.....what do I see? BABIES!!!!!! Everywhere!

They are now 1cm long if you include the tail fin and about 1.5mm tall. They've got a spot at the caudal peduncle and big googly eyes.

They are behaving like the adults, grazing on the rocks, the big sponge intakes at the end of the tank and just generally checking out all available surfaces for food.

They are all over the tank! And they can keep up with the current. Given there are 5 powerheads, a Fluval 203 and an Aquaclear 300 moving the water in the tank, that's really impressive.

So much for buying more Hillstreams.....not. We've got to make sure there's room for these youngsters to grow up.

Martin says if he'd smoke, he'd light a cigar.

Now, we've just gotta get some closeup shots of these fellas. Hey Jim, what about an article for TFH? Joint authorship?
