Best chance for Clowns to not develop ICK??

I would love to have about 4 clowns for my 90- Gallon, soon to be planted. The other inhabitants are 14 Tiger barbs, 3 Yo-yo's, and 2 skunks. My three inch Royal pleco will probably also be moved there as he gets bigger, not for a while. There are a few danios in there as well, mainly hiding from the tiger barbs. The tank has largish pieces of driftwood, will have as many plants as I can get in there, and I'm leaning toward sand or very small gravel as the substrate.

My only problem is that they apparently get ick easily and die, which for a fairly expensive fish (to me, though I did shell out the 25 bucks f
