Shy Loaches

Great forum by the way. It has been VERY helpful. I just opened up my 55 gallon this past December and have been spending most of the past 6 months cycling it and getting my chemical readings in order. Now I'm adding more fish and just added 3 Loaches (which I'd like to get to 5 soon) which are our favorite fish!!

They are VERY shy and have found their way up into one of the "castles" in my tank. Two of them are coming out a bit more lately, BUT the 3rd I haven't seen at all. Is this normal? Will they come out more as they get used to the tank? (we've had them for about a week) I have them in with 5 Danios, 5 Algae Eaters, 2 Pearl Gouramis, and 2 dward Gouramis. They seem to all be getting along...

Any help would be appreciated.
