Hello everyone,

I read several places that fish should not require an airstone/bubbler but when I turn off the air,in the morning,(to help out the ailing plants)by evening, the fish(loaches etc)are at the top gasping for air. When I turn the air back on,in a short time, they are back to normal.Water paramaters are good and the tank is not over-crowded.

Ideas, anyone,on whats going on, or on how to help out the fish/plants would be appreciated.Thanks.
