Ich, spontaneous remission & treatment ?'s

Update on an earlier post:

Apparently, the ich which started on my elderly, ill female betta did spread to a mild extent (I think...). I saw one white ich spot on my biggest skunk loach's tail. :-(

I decided to immediately up the temperature from 78 to 86-88 over 2-3 days, added 2 tablespoons of salt to my 20 gallon tank, and did my first treatment of Formalite II (my LFS said full strength would be OK with my loaches).

The ich spot disappeared immediately, and no one else has shown any signs of ich. I just did a 20% water change w/gravel vacuum expedition, and added the second dose. I'm beginning to wonder if the skunk really had an ich spot on the tail or not now, and my fish seem quite grumpy at the higher temperature (mor
