Clown Loach in Distress

I have a clown loach that seems to be in distress. He is one of a pair in a tank with black and regular kuhlis and guppies. I recently treated the tank with maracide because of an ich outbreak. Since then the tank has had frequent water changes.

The clown is swimming vertically in the corners of the tank, near the surface. I have not seen evidence of "gulping" and the water, as I said, is being changed frequently (once a week). It is a planted tank, and with the lights, the temp flunctuates between 75F to 80F each day.

Any ideas?
