hi, i have a small 10 gal aquarium that is home to several goldfish, a couple exotics and one loach ( the exact type of which i'm not certain )
today i woke up to find one of my smaller fish missing, they had all been healthy the night before when i fed them. i found my loach in the corner tearing a small goldfish to peices. when i pulled out the poor soul all that was left was a skull and spine ( the loach even ate the eyes ... yuck ) my question is .. is a loach a hunter? will he actively seek and kill other fish for food
even though i have been feeding him staple food and sinking pellets?
