HELP!! Sick yo yo

Two of my 5 prize yo yos (they are v. hard to get in Australia) seem to have some kind of mouth disease. It looks like there's a small bump, about the size of a pin head, just above the barbels of both of them. In one it's worse than in the other and it looks quite red and tender. It looks a bit like when a white spot breaks through the skin of a heavily infected fish, except these guys definately don't have white spot. I've treated the tank with a broad spectrum medication (I think it's the equivalent of a white spot and fungus and fin rot treatment).

Any advice would be most appreciated!
