Food Consumption

FishBase 'Key Facts' link has calculated the annual food consumption of a clown loach to be 10.7 times its body mass. The way this figure is computed appears very scientific to my untrained eye. Nevertheless, 10.7 times the body mass seems astonishingly small for the voracious clown loach. The figure of 30.6 given for the Queen loach is more in line with my experience. Has anyone else ever taken a look at this?
