1 very sick clown left

**Sigh** Well 2 weeks with Coopersafe and all I have now is 1 very sick clown loach, the others are definitely gone, no where to be found. I I suspect the few other fish took care of the remains. The tank is a complete biological disaster. If possible I am sure the national guard would take over now.

Problem is I just can not figure out what happened. everthing was fine up to three weeks ago and then the Nitrates (NO3) hit 40ppm while ammonia was 0 to trace, and nitrite(NO2) was 0.5ppm.

Temp never fluctuated, no new species introduction, no new plants, no visible snails....Etc..

All that was different was the brand of food and a new occasional frozen brine shimp cude (thawed)

The food couldn't be the cause of all this could it?

Looking for insight,
