Ancistrus breeding

Has anyone ever bred ancistrus or bushynose plecos in the same tank with loaches (clowns, sids, and weather loaches)?

I have a couple of pairs that are almost old enough to breed. One female is so pregnant. The 2 males take spots under pieces of driftwood, but they aren't that concealing. I'm afraid the loaches might eat his eggs if they are in the open like that. So I cover extra extension tubes that came with my Whisper power filters with black electrical tape and put them in the sand at 30 degrees... then remove most of the driftwood from the tank. The boys haven't paid attention to these tubes yet though.
