Large clowns in an oscar tank?

I have a well-established 55-gal with an oscar about 7" long and a pl*co slightly larger (the lurking monster). I picked up two 4" clown loaches today, with the intent of moving them into a new community tank we're setting up, but it's not cycled yet. They seem to be holding their own well with the oscar thus far - he thinks they're too big to eat, but fun to look at. They have a good hidey-hole for the time being.

I know clowns can get very large - would they do well in an oscar tank?
