one cute kuhlii

Oops, you must have written the answer while I was editing my original message (that is, deleting and posting again), so for the others: here's my original message:

Today I saw a Pangio kuhlii at my lsf. and immediately fell in love with it.

They had a sign saying that it's school fish but my book says otherwise. The fish was alone anyway.

So what should I do? Should I give it a try and buy it, even when I don't have other kuhliis (and don't plan on getting more)?

My reply to your message: Many thanks for the info. Now I'm even more undecided about this. "Falling in love" was maybe a bit exaggerated... it's just that I suddenly saw more in kuhliis than strange wormy thingies. I had only seen photos of kuhliis before, and I considered them as kind of ugly.

I don't need emotional feedback from my fish, I have two cats for that. But I want my fish to be healthy and in good spirits, therefore I want to provide them a good environment. If you think it's better for them to be kept with others I can try to find it a partner later.

Oh well, I guess I'll go to the store tomorrow and get it.
