Chinese Algae Eaters..aggressive??

This is not very "loach related", but I will ask anyway. I was just at the lfs to pick up a Plecostemus to go in my Loach tank, and decided I should pick up an algae eater for by 6 gallon, which is housing 25-30 baby Swordtails that are about 2-3 weeks old. The guy there said how wonderful Chinese Algae Eaters would be, & that I should get at least 2-3 & they would be ok with the fry. Are they?? Now that I've looked around a bit in here, I see where they are aggressive as they grow older. They are only an inch long now, but will they kill the babies?? Waht do you all think??
