Did they bred Clown Loaches in fish farms in Asia?

I know that many of you are going to say, they are wild caught and they export them to North America. But about a year and half ago, Tropcial Fish Hobbiest Magazine said the fish farms bred them in large outdoor ponds. I am assuming this is true because my fish stores have Clown Loaches all the time at cheap prices since they are captive bred rather than wild caught. Also, a live fish retailer in the Interent says that they have them as tank raised rather than wild caught. Many fish books say that the Clown Loach cannot be bred. But I think those books are out dated. What do you think?
