In Response To: my age old remedy (SteveK)

Quickcure worked on my Clown Loaches.

Day 1: Move fish to quaratine tank & half dose QC. Cover tank with towel.
Day 2: 50% water change, half dose QC
Day 3: 50% water change, half dose QC
Day 4: Ich should be falling off fish. 25% water change full dose QC (Apply full dose only & if Ich is falling off fish)
Day 5: 25% water change, No QC (Give your fish a break from this medication)
Day 6: 25% water change, half dose QC
Day 7: Optional, 25-50% water change quarter dose QC (use your best judgement)

Continue treatment 8-12 days, maybe less. By the fourth day the ich should be falling off the fishes body. This is the only time you can kill the Ich in it's tomite stage.
The towel serves two purposes. It let's the fish rest with less stress. And it stops the Ich's from getting energy from the light. This will make them weak so the Quickcure can kill them faster.

Goodluck,

Kevin
