Dyed Modesta's

I know this is a sore subject with a lot of you, and rightly so, it's a practice I do not believe in. But today at Wal-Mart I saw some dyed Modesta's. They are nice big fish, appear healthy, and are only $3.98. In your opinions, is it worth getting them? Am I looking at problems in the future, or will the dye fade in time and I'll have beautiful natural Modesta's. This is the first time in ages that there's been any for sale in my area and I would like to give my poor lone Modesta a buddy, but not if it's going to die on me. Thanks in advance for your opinions on the matter.
