Velvet Disease

I believe my clowns, and other fish have developed velvet disease. Their gill movements are more rapid than usual, they have been glancing against the rocks, and have stopped eating. They also have a goldish fuzz over theirs entire bodies, which has led me to eliminate ich as the culprit. I have increased the temp to 82, added one-half the copper safe dosage, and added about 1 tsp of aquarium salt per 5 gallons (US). So far I have lost two clown, two bala sharks, and one pictus. Is there anything I can do to reverse the losses? I have a 55 gal aquarium. Oh, the water quality seems to be fine: PH 7.0, no traces of amonia (I do about a 20 percent water change per week).
