Need help treating loaches for ich

I have an ich situation I could really use a hand with. I have 13 clown loaches (1" - 6") in a 55 gallon tank. Two weeks ago, two of the loaches had a dusting of white spots (only sign of ich I saw). Since I had two other tanks with "ichy" clowns (I go around "rescuing" them - strange hobby), I figured I cross-contaminated the tank somehow (and the clowns had been stressed by a gravel cleaning). I checked the water chemistry (O.K.), raised the temperature to 84 degrees F, added 1 teaspoon salt/gallon, darkened the tank, and added half dose of malachite green/formaldehyde (with no carbon filter) each day with water changes. Now two weeks later, no signs of ich cysts, but most of the clown loaches are scratching on the rocks. Any help/advice on what t
