rose barb

I know this is a loach board and I have 3 clowns in my 55 gal. doing well. My question however is about one of my two rose barbs. He seems to be breathing really fast and very jittery in his movements. I just did a 25% water change 2 days ago and checked water chemistry this a.m. and all was fine, pH was high (7.5) but this is the norm for my area and all other fish seem fine. He also is eating fine. Guess all I can do is keep an eye on things, any advice or opinions on what would cause this would be great!

Thanks alot,
