Clown Loaches

I have a quick questions I have a trio of clown loaches in one tank and another trio in another tank out of the 6 only 1 has done this and it is freaking out my other fish.
The one clown loaches has a habit of 1. sleeping upside down, 2. swimming upside down, 3 eating upside down. He swims when he wants to right side up but my tiger barb who thinks he is a clown loach (try to imagine a tiger barb waggin its fins including its dorsal fin) is freaking out. He keeps going to the clown loach when it is upside down and tries to turn him right side up. Is this something they do or does he have an equalibrium (sp) problem?
