Move and clean? Slightly OS

Would it be a very bad idea to move my tank and clean it at the same time? I need to move my 55 gallon tank temporarily. It holds cycling-sensitive fish like my clowns and kauhlis. I plan to save all the water and the biotics in the two filters. (And will steal the cooler idea to hold the fish based on previous discussions.) I have a green ring-algae that my pleco and flying foxes ignore and I can't remove it without scratching the tank glass. I was hoping that some bleach and a thorough rinse might do the trick -- but I'd be losing the biotics in the gravel. Any thoughts?
