Is my gravel too coarse?

Yes.. it's me again :P I hope I don't ask too many questions.. but I just can't help it!

I'm starting to worry that my gravel might be too coarse because I keep reading that substrate for loaches should be fine and soft. Right now I have 2 sizes. The weather loaches live in the tank that has a bigger size. Below is the link to pictures of my gravel. I would like to know if the bigger one is too coarse for weather loaches or clown loaches. The last picture that has 2 red platies has the small gravel. It's a bit sandy and some of it gets sucked up when I clean the tank.. but I'll bare with it if that will make my loaches happy.

The weather loach is about 4" long. The platys are around 1" long.

Thanks again,
