Weather Loaches

One of my weather loaches has developed a milky white spot on his nose. This doesn't appear to inconvenience him at all as he still enjoys burying himself in the gravel but I am concerned as the other loach has no such spot. The spot has not got any larger since it first appeared about 6 weeks ago.

I would be very grateful if anyone can offer an explanation for what this is or any advice about what I should be doing about it? My loaches share their tank with 4 larger goldfish.
