Miserable clown loach

I've recently moved a loach into a new tank that I've set up - its been running for 3 weeks. The water chemistry all seems fine (tested for nitrite, ammonia & pH) but the loach doesn't look happy. He has lost much of his dark colouration and keeps frantically trying to swim through the glass at the side of the tank.

Has anyone seen this before? The water temp. is 25C and there is loads of air bubbling through the water so I doubt its an oxygen problem.

If any one has any suggestions my loach would really appreciate it!
