Oh sad day. One of my clown loaches is unwell and I am at a loss as to the solution. I have a 30 gallon community tank with a variety of peaceful fish, including four juvenile loaches which I purchased two days ago. I noticed almost right away that three of the loaches were active and liked to hang out together, while a fourth didn't move around too much and stuck to himself. Tonight I observed that the lone loach was kinda spinning as if to itch himself on a rock and he is breathing rapidly. Right now he is hiding under a rock looking sick (pale, fins down), while the other fish seem fine.

The tank is rather alkaline (around 7.4), and the ammonia level is negligible as I make frequent water changes. The latest change was yesterday when I changed 50% of the water.
