White Spot On B. Sid.

I was looking closely at my B. Sids today, and I noticed something unusual. There's some sort of strange white spot on one the pectoral fins. I don't believe it's ich -- oblong shape, not round. At this point in time, I'm unsure what to treat it with...perhaps this calls for dabbing the spot with mercurochrome? I've done this before with success, but I have no idea what this thing is.
