It should stop though, there's a point where one of the clowns should give to the dominant one. If the fighting goes on too long, (not sure how long is too long) then one or both may be weakened and stressed out. Mine were fighting and then one got ick and then all got ick and all eventually died. (This was like 1 year ago) Very unfortunate but I made the mistake of adding another clown to a pair that I had and this clown must have been itty bitty bigger than the largest one of my pair so they both fought for a long time.
