I know this has Absolutely Nothing to do with loaches, but does anyone have any Tiger Barbs?

I cannot find another good fish forum as friendly as this so here goes...... I have 2 tiger barbs, both males, and I was going to MABE get 2 or 3 females to go with them to spawnand to solve a potential problem that I will describe below. They have their disputes, one chases the other all day untill his fins are ripped to shreads and he is shaking. Then the next day he is COMPLETELY healed and the chasing is reversed (Revenge I guess?!?!) I know they are nippers by nature and this is by no means a surprise to me. What I was wondering is that I have heard that they will nip the fins of other fish if not kept in large groups of 4-6 to keep them busy with eachother instead of other fish so I wanted to get more to solve this POTENTIAl problem, but I only have 2 and they have NEVER messed with any of my other fish so I wonder if there is any need to get more to keep them from MABE doing this later. I figured that since they are only about 1.5 inches that mabe they are still young and will pester other FISH when they get older. Therefore< I wanted to go ahed and get some more so they will grow up together and never start pestering other fish. Or mabe they will always be this way and never need more. I need to know what you think ASAP bcause I think I am going out soon and I need to get them then IF I NEED TO!!
