Passing of a Pleco

Well, this is rather unfortunate news for me. I have had a pleco in my larger tank for who knows how long. I used to only have elodea sp. plants growing in it for a while. I switched it over to a less plant filled environment a few years back. Well, the other day my pleco finally gave in to old age I think (hope). The big guy was at least 17 years old. I was about five when I got him and he has lasted a long time. He died at a happy length of 16 and 3/4 inches. Oh well, time to get another one to last hopefully twenty years.
