but who cares if the topics go all over the place on LOL? Do you have any idea how boring the Aquatic Plants List gets when single subjects on lighting, or substrate, or CO2 injectors go on for weeks and weeks? There have just been about 30 postings about the use of leaf litter in breeding tanks on the Apisto list! Arghhhhh! 'delete, delete, delete' Variety is great. It means that everyone gets something from this forum.

I only keep clowns and my cousin has sids and clowns, so a lot of the specific postings on the many species of loaches don't really interest me. As Martin does, I pick and choose. But I do have significant knowledge to share about general water questions, diseases, plants etc. Why? Because I've had lots of time to make lots of mistakes. :) At least I've learned from them. These strictly off-loach topics do interest and concern many people who post on LOL and they are relevent because keeping loaches goes beyond just being able to identify them and tell everyone what one has purchased or lucked out on.

I should like to think that we are all here to share information, assist one another and have fun. Ta daaaa!!!!! My 2 cent's worth - and it being Canadian....well...hmmmmf. :)
