I'm very very very sad tonight. I just lost my hillstream loach and I have no clue as to why. This loach survived a trip through a power filter and seemed to be a pretty hardy fish. (You should have seen the chunk of skin that it had lost off it's back.) He'd healed up from this just fine and seemed happy and healthy in my tank. Here's what I have in my tank with test results:
10 gallon tank / 75 degrees F / 20 gallon AquaTech power filter / 2 mollies / 3 neon tetras / 2 pristilla tetras / 1 small (3 inch) pleco / 1 cory cat / 4 hatchetfish / 2 small (2.5 inch) khuli loaches
7.8 ph / .25 ppm ammonia / 0 nitrites
I don't have a nitrate tester, but it should be fine since my ammonia and nitrites are low, right?
I know it's a bit over stocked, but I have a large filter and I do a 25% water change ev
