Clown loach activity

Now, please remember, clown loach keeping is new to me...but one of my clowns did the cutest thing the other day. (This may be typical of their behavior, but since I am a proud parent, I have bragging rights!) The substrate in the tank is small smooth pebbles, I guess he was looking for food so he was picking up each pebble in his mouth and moving it! Not rooting through the substrate, but acutally moving it. Looked like he had real purpose in his behavior. I don't know if he reached his goal, he eventually quit and went off to play with his buddies. Okay, call me crazy!!!
