Wild Plants--getting to the Forum????? The number of new messages rises but I can`t see mine!

IMHO it always bears some risk introducing them into your tank. But then its the same with plants from other tanks, too. When I used the willow moss I took a small peace of the stone, washed it thouroughly and fixed it with some nylons in my tank just like you usually do with java moss or fern. No problems. It grew very well in hard (cold and warm) water. In soft water FME the plant gets problems, but that might be dependent of the water conditions in the creek you collect it from.

BTW, do you know that those freshwater shrimp (I guess it was Gammarus pulex, an amphipod) make excellent fish food?:)
