I have a java fern as well but it's not doing what you say yours is. It sure is getting a good root system, though. I also have these other small plants which I hear are no longer being sold anywhere in U.S. It's a shame because they do amazingly well and have lived through a lot of abuse.

I am really impressed with this tall plant with slender leaves that actually took root into my undergravel plate (yeah!). I don't know its name but it is as tall as my 10gal tank. I'll try to get its name for you.
