Ich on my driftwood

My Clowns had a case of ich about a month ago. I used a half dosage of malachite green(as per my lfs). They seemed to have recovered and I cannot find any signs on their bodies. I noticed recently that they are all rubbing against the rocks and gravel. Upon examining the tank, I noticed small ich-like 'dots' on my driftwood. Could this be ich? Are they known to attch to objects such as driftwood? I raised the temperature of my tank to 85 degrees and added malachite green, in hopes to help kill them. Any reccomendations? I heard these could be dormant ich eggs. Thanks.
