Sounds like a great tank. I hope you are going to plant it well - you will need plants that work with a sand substrate. The sand tends to restrict the plant roots.You might find that planted bogwood or similar will do just as good. As for lighting , my clown tank is lit for 12 hours a day - sometimes up to 14 hours , but I have separate controls for each light tube so that early and late I only have subdued light (I turn off one tube). The clowns seem to appreciate this. Good luck. BOB
