If you have not seen the picture archive yet. You might want to try looking up the pictures of Leptobotia Elongata. Joe Loach a.k.a (the tall loach) has kept them and clued me in to what I had. I came here myself looking for info on the Royal Chinese Clown, and since then I think someone in the NE US posted about a loach being sold under the same common name as you supply. Never heard if the fish in question was this species tough:( There are some archived posts "Royal Chinese Clown" or "Leptobotia Elongat
