Ah, so when BB tasted it as the concentrate and he barely got a buzz on his tongue, then there is obviously not much Capsaicin in it. And now this bit of info from Sandy. Not impressive so far.

Capsaicin is supposedly being utilized as an irritant. If there is not enough there, then it won't do what it is advertised to do. Given that the manufacturer do not provide any information about this magical "plant extract" that can pop Ick cysts, well....Who really knows what the supposed active ingredient really is in this concoction.

It would be nice if the manufacturers of various products for use by aquarists would consider us to be intelligent consumers. But they make plenty of money off of people in a panic.

It's too bad that a lot of people start out by purchasing over $100 worth of 'aquarium stuff' but won't shell out $10 for a book. Then, when something goes wrong, they make a mad dash to the lfs and start grabbing all sorts of chemicals hoping that these will solve the problem of poor husbandry. No wonder these companies make a profit!

Grumble grumble grumble....getting too old for this.
