Disappearing Neons

Does anyone happen to keep botia striatas with neon tetras? Have you ever had any trouble with the neons being eaten? I recently got a new school of neons for my 20 gal. tank, and they seem to be disappearing. The striatas are the only thing that is different, well, and a small ghost knife. This is my tetra tank, which has also turned into my baby loach tank. I have 4 small clowns, 3 striatas, a black ghost knife, and 3 painted tetras. (I've had them for 2 years. I got them before I knew better, so no lectures needed.) I have always had clowns and neons together, so I don't think it's them. Any thoughts?
