i started having an ich problem with all three of my clowns. after starting treatment with copper-formalin, i noticed they started hanging near the top with their "whiskers" out of the water, hanging vertical like they are trying to get air. they are sometimes all bunched on top of each other right at the surface. i thought they were dead, they were all in a heap once. i have stopped treatment-upped the salt to 1 t. per gal. i am slowly raising the temp. it is now 84. this is a 30 gal. set-up with a bubblewand along the back. WHY ARE MY CLOWNS DOING THIS? i am afraid to start treatment again. a new petstore gave me rid ich+ to try but i am afraid to start with this behavior going on! please help!
