Trapping Loaches.

I want to remove my Yoyos from my big tank with the Clowns, and put them with my modestas. Trouble is, catching them! The only way to net them would be to strip all the roots and other decor from the tank, something I don't want to do. I thought I would trap them. I made up a trap from a 2Litre Coke bottle. I cut the top off, just below where the bottle sides go parallel, cut off the neck, and put the top back into the bottle, reversed, so I had a funnel trap.

I sank it into the tank with some of my home made frozen fish-food inside as bait. Great success! in 3 mins I had caught 3 cardinals and 2 glowlights! The loaches were very, very interested, but way too wary to risk entering this nice smelling, unusual thing in their tank!

Anybody got any trick ways of catching loaches out of an established tank?

I really want to move them out and put my striatas with the Clowns.
