...or "Cat-Eyed Loach" (Somileptes gongota). I had a trio of these years ago, and in spite of my best efforts, they starved to death after about 5-6 months. I have an internet friend (Kim) who I *believe* had them 9-12 months before the same thing happened.
She tried room temps, low light levels, species tank...and I believe night feedings. Her husband added Corys to the tank. They died soon after that. Perhaps they had something to do with it? I dunno.
I kept mine in a species tank...and fed them chopped earthworms (*REALLY* chopped), parts of bloodworms, brine shrimp. They were so very, very, slow and deliberate in their chewing! No way would they survive in a commun
